Hiring and Training the Sign Makers of the Future

Hiring and training the next generation of sign fabricators is among the most important tasks for the survival of the industry. The Sign and Graphics Institute has collaborated with the Fashion Institute of Technology to develop methdologies for sign industry workforce development. This lecture will encompass these innovations, including vocational partnerships, internships, training programs and special projects. Included will be case studies and videos that illustrate these methdologies and a sample approach for fabricators and academic institutions.
